  3. It hasn’t worked because all of you gun toating coal burning money loving neo cons are not willing to accept a place in the global village. You are too busy thinking of your selves and not Darfur. We live in a global economy now and we must accept Cuba, North Korea, China, Iran, as well as all of the rest of the world.

Communal Prosperity is typical of the left wing mindset that is so silly. C.P. seems to have a “right wing phobia” when attempting to insinuate that these diverse groups (that means both liberal, like you, and conservative, not just your interpretation of right wing) are, ohmygosh, Dangerous to Homeland Security. Give me a break. C.P. knows very well what is going on here and it’s easy for C.P. to fear what he/she cannot possibly ever understand. I agree with the previous comments: Go to Russia. They love people like you.

  5. Chris says:

I personally went to the Huntsville, AL TEA Party, and there were thousands there, not “hundreds”.

  6. Tom says:

Communal prosperity hasn’t worked since the days of Jesus’ twelve apostles. While it’s a great idea in theory, it centers around people doing what’s good for themselves and for the group. People don’t care about the group anymore, they only care about themselves. Capitalism is the solution, as it rewards the person and the group. All we need is a bit of regulation to ensure the person (i.e. a middle manager at a multinational bank) doesn’t mess it up for the group (i.e. everyone with a 401k). Get it?

  7. Robyn says:

Amen! That’s what I wanted to say to that guy.

  8. Robyn says:

    Mr. Communal Prosperity,

Why in god’s name do we want to be like any European country? The United States was founded because people did not want to be like the countries in Europe. If you are so fond of those idealogies then maybe you and your friends should move to Europe instead of trying to make the rest of us change. The protests today are not just to grumble about taxes. Those who attend are not traitors or terrorists. They are people who are concerned about losing the way of life that has served Americans so well for over 200 years. We believe in paying OUR taxes but not in paying YOURS for you or others who think they deserve a handout just because they exist in this country.

  9. Gerald Hutchinson says:

Greensboro, NC had upwards of 800 people at our rally (some estimates up to 1500)!

  10. JAS says:

communal prosperity says:”If the states would sit back and allow Obama to implement his plan, everyone will be all the better in the long run. We need Nationalization to be more like the European Countries.”

Letting Obama implement his plan scares me…..what has Obama ever done that we should blindly listen to him? Do you know anything about Obama’s past influences at all? I’ve done a lot of studying on Obama’s past and know he’s not someone who should have control over our country. You comment sounds like you sympathize with marxist ideology (which is a proven failure!!) (”communal prosperity”, as great as it might sound to the ignorant, is a failure!!!) and secretly wish for the end of this country’s sovereignty. Why would we want to be like Europe anyway? Take your leftist socialist marxist athiest brainwashing and move to a Russian prison!

Down with excessive spending and bailouts that give government more control!!!! Just because of a few greedy bank bastards we need to give up our freedom now?

  11. Nick says:

Why wouldnt every citizen of the US be out at one of these today? If you work and earn your money then why should we be handing it over to the governments to spend it away on their pet project. Yes, I agree something needs to be done with numerous issues around the country, but the answer is to let the free market that this country was founded on do its job. This all means nothing unless people get out and vote these people out of office.

  12. This is exactly the rightwing extremist activity that the Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about. If the states would sit back and allow Obama to implement his plan, everyone will be all the better in the long run. We need Nationalization to be more like the European Countries. It is time to let go of Bush oppression and move forward and embrace change. Obama is the answer we just have to be willing to listen.

Im amazed! Finally America is speaking out for us. Im a man that has been out of work for about a year because of the economy, My wife is working two part time jobs and because of that the government says I make too much money to be on medical, and now they say I owe over 1200.00 in taxes. I was lucky I had some money I saved for retirement. Now im afraid that if this keeps up I wont have any kind of retirement becuase the way the government is spending money Im worried if ill have any Social Security when i retire in about 12 years from now!!!!
