I am hoping for a rally in Spartanburg. That would be closer for us than Columbia, but we will go to Columbia, if that is the best we can do.

I can’t imagine why any responsible, taxpaying citizen would not want to be involved in this movement. We have the support of a popular local radio host here in central Kentucky. I would encourage everyone to take this to the national level as well. Call and email independent talkers like Glenn Beck, Neal Boortz, Dobbs, Fred Thompson and Jerry Doyle to really get the ball rolling. There’s not a lot of time left to make this happen. Let’s roll!

LA teaparty is in high planning now, We’re scouting Post Offices and working on a permit. Our event will be posted here within the next few days. Get ready Los Angeles!

I totally support these tea parties and may be at the OKC tea party. However, it does seem slightly inapporpriate to do it at the Oklahoma State Capitol because the Republican Oklahoma Senate and House are doing lots of good things.

I’m all for the Des Moines tea party! Does anyone know if the Polk County Republicans or Central Committee are organizing/supporting an event? If they aren’t, they should be!!

thank you for the ability to join so many like-minded americans-it’s nice to know that we’re not alone!!! I hope the march 15th d.c. event is only the beginning, as i feel that we truly need to follow thru legally/consti-tutionally in many ways with these traitors. i believe sovereignty resolutions are a good start, along with an american class action suit of sorts against congress, senate, bank-ers, including obama/biden and cabinet. the charge should be for treason against america. they should be first impeached/thrown out of office for their crimes and formally charged in some way, and the “stimulus” theft halted.
perhaps someone can educate me on just how to proceed in these areas…..
the powers that be have been planning this socialism/nationalism for so very long, and those of us who have sounded the warning bells have been called “nut jobs.” it’s nice to finally see that so many that have been lulled to sleep are finally awakening from their slumber. i just pray that it’s not too late…the powers that be have already count-ed on us protesting and have planned accord- ingly. therefore, we need millions-not thou-sands to rally-and then follow through tire-lessly, relentlessly for it to have the out-come we desperately must have!!!!!

count my family and friends in on march 15 as well as july 4 and september 12th - if we’re not all too exhausted from standing in bread lines by then. even then, the fight for free- dome must continue….there is absolutely no other choice….give me liberty or give me death….i’m sure the powers that be would be more than happy to follow thru on that part of their plan!! that’s ok…it’s worth dying for!!!! may GOD BLESS us all in our fight against EVIL!!! without HIS BLESSING, WE HAVE NO HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We could have the tea party at State house in Concord at 5:30pm (when parking is freed up and working people could get there) Also at City Hall Plaza in Manchester at 5:30pm. If you send tea, you cannot send and packages or stuffed envelopes to DC offices of our representatives because they go through a security process (A rep told me this once when I tried to send her a large envelope of paper documents) Instead you can either send a picture of TEA to their DC offices or a teabag to NH offices of our federal representatives. see http://www.nh.gov for their addresses. Also we should have a ‘I won’t pay my mortgage day’ for July 1st, just delay your payment for 29 days as a friend of mine suggested???

We need one in the westSan Fernando Valley… perhaps tha abandoned K Mart lot on Corbin & Plummer… or Van Nuts Blvd at the Federal Building may be nice.

I’m working late (not ready to go Galt yet) and was listening to Gunny Bob on the radio, browsing Ann Coulter’s blog, browsing Michele Malkin’d blog and found my self here where I see Gunny Bob’s comment. Not sure where you are located Darlene, but I am organizing a tea party here in Abingdon, VA. Waiting on word from the town about using the site where the Kings Mountain men held muster in the revolution before they went over the mountain and annihilated Patrick Ferguson and his Tories. I can’t think of a better place in southwest Virginia,from a historical point of view, than here.

I would LOVE to have a tea party here in Des Moines. I would be willing to help get the info out as well. We could get it on all of the community calendars on the local stations and in the datebook and cityview. I work during the day so I would like to do something like at 6 so families and working people could attend as well. Let me know what you are thinking. I was also thinking along the Des Moines river might be nice as well.

Is anybody planning one for Manhattan, Newton, or Salina?

We need a Tea Party in Arlington or Grand Prairie, Texas. I will help if someone is willing.

We should remember what the original tea-Parties were. They were often violent direct actions taken to enforce a boycot on taxed goods. They were deliberate campaigns to deny the British government tax revenues.

Neither state nor Federal Government will take the least notice of peaceful protests against taxes: the bureaucrats who collect the taxes didn’t impose them; the politicians who imposed them don’t have to collect them. Only denying the govenrments the revenues they intended to wring out of our pockets will get their attention.

In the spirit of the original Tea-Party movement, we should boycot any goods on which there are excise taxes: alcohol; tobacco; gasoline; et cetera.

If a million people sent them teabags, they would just make tea out of them in their coffee break rooms. If a million people boycotted beer, then they might have to sit up and take notice.

My wife and I will be attending the Tea Party nearest our location which is in Berkeley Co. West Virginia. In the meantime will be spreading the word.

I have a lot of people interested in starting something in Santa Fe - about 400 people on our contact list already (not that they will all join this effort, though). How do we get started?

   All I can say is wow! From a rant by CNBC’s Santelli a month ago to a revolution in its infancy. The tea party movement and the we surround them movement are spreading like wildfire. Truly historic times we are living in. I support this movement 100%.

   Keep fighting the good fight. Remember you are not alone.
