An international effort to shut down the TaxDayTeaParty.com website has been detected by our technical staff. Internet experts commonly call this type of attack a Denial of Service (DOS) attack. Corrective measures are being implemented, and the site should be fully accessible again within 48 hours.
UPDATE: We believe we’ve been able to find a solid solution to the problem. As we understand it, the DOS attack occurred last Thursday and Friday. Because of the heaviness of the attack, we had to limit IP’s allowed to access the site. This limit in and of itself is why there were so many issues accessing the site over the weekend.
Everything should be getting back to normal today.

They will try and stop us at the national level, they can’t keep us from getting involved locally. WAKE up Americans, they are stealing your country and picking our pockets.
We just have to make these parties bigger and more dramatic, if we stop now they will pound us into the ground. I am simply furious that the tea parties only made their haughtiness worse. In the beginning I sat here at 2am crying with outrage and dismay at what was happening not knowing what to do, then I found the tea parties, I went and now I am more determined then ever. I thought the Tea parties were great! The leftest media doesn’t believe that this is a movement, just a one time thing. I am here to say that it is a movement and we need to have these rallies MONTHLY until we can vote the theives out of office in the next election. Hopefully everyone is up to this challenge.

While having these tea perties in our towns is a good thing, if I may ask, why not have the tea party in DC? We could All car pool or ask buisness owners to offer there trucks and buses and what ever other means of transportation to get us all to DC, I think after yesterday’s action by Obama, GM, we must go to DC as one people telling the Breakers of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence, they have gone far enough outside the law, and we have had it with this out law activity.
We need not break the law ourselves to insure our Feedoms, but we must make a stand in a spot of National Pride, so where better than D.C.?
I would be willing to invest in the effort by not working for a few day’s to make the trip and to help others that may be less able to afford the trip. So what do you all think about this? I think one way or another we’ll ALL end up in Washington at another time, so why not sooner rather than later? when so much more damaged will have been done to the nation? Remember we are not the British, we are the Americans.

Oh, someone ‘borrowed’ my idea before I could tell you. I am working on getting the permit across the street from our main Post Office. Just keeping ya up to date. It is not settled yet, so I cannot advertize it (so they say), but they said they would work with me. I hope so, cuz I’ve never done this before. It seems like a big hassle for a few people to get together! Then again, more people may show up. Do you anticipate any trouble? We’re mad at both parties here in California, so I don’t see why anyone should be angry…

I tried to get to the NY information but the site is very slow. I guess the DOS attacks are in full swing. Some very powerful guttersnipes are trying to stop your movement.
