Fellow American Patriots,

It’s extremely rare for us to ask for your help in this realm, but the time and need have come for us to do so.

The American Liberty Tour, a project of the American Liberty Alliance (core sponsor of the Tax Day Tea Party), is looking to raise some money this week to further the cause of freedom. We have all of the details and information located here.

Please visit the link and consider a small contribution after reading what the findraiser is about and what it is for.

  1. um…Ed, do you ever do any research on anything before you open your mouth? Are you simply repeating what you’ve heard? I’m not a member of this or any other “grassroots movement” but I know enough about them that they’re not anarchists. Nor are they racist. When was their first major protest? What was the reason for it? It was originally established because of out of control government spending. Really though, the tea party was already in the works far before there was ever a “black man” in the white house. The tea party is essentially a conglomeration of several organizations that were already established long before the tea party was ever thought of.

As for your comment on “anarchism.” How about we look closer at the root word “anarchy.” The american heritage dictionary defines anarchy as “Political disorder and confusion.” Hm, that’s interesting, seems as though the tea party is actually fighting for exactly the opposite. Do you not realize that we are in a recession because of political spending. Our congress has spent trillions of dollars that we don’t have and have no way of paying back. Seems to me that we’re already in a state of anarchy. Our fellow citizens have no jobs, money, or houses because of political disorder.

You said that the potential greatest depression was averted. Interesting, because the government is still spending money they don’t have, we’re still losing 260,000 jobs per month, there’s still more than 300,000 foreclosures filed each month. Averted? I think not. My point is, do your research before deciding whether or not this movement is racist, anarchist, or communist. Be sure to know what those terms mean, and use a bit of intellect, not pseudo-intellect, before posting allegations.

“`I want a clean cup,’ interrupted the Hatter: `let’s all move one place on.’
He moved on as he spoke, and the Dormouse followed him: the March Hare moved into the Dormouse’s place, and Alice rather unwillingly took the place of the March Hare. The Hatter was the only one who got any advantage from the change: and Alice was a good deal worse off than before, as the March Hare had just upset the milk-jug into his plate.”
    -Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

Workers, it’s time to reject the repugnant “tea party” spectacles, which have shown themselves to be nothing more than a cynical excuse to photograph and catalogue the faces and identities of Obama administration critics. Like all past state-approved “protest” spectacles, these “tea parties” are engineered by their self-appointed leadership (comprised of bureaucrats and petit-bourgeois mediators) to be as conducive to the stable and regular operations of the usual political oppression as possible. This serves to release the pressure valve on mass-social tension, as well as lure potential subversives into the headlights of law enforcement. Stripped of their political context, these right-wing anti-tax and anti-healthcare demonstrations, and their left-wing anti-war counterparts, bear much similarity to purely apolitical expressions of consumer-driven mass-ennui, from county fairs to Dave Matthews Band concerts.

The 18th century tea party was an act of masked insurrectionary violence, conducted at night, with tactical precision. It was an act of guerrilla warfare. That the activist NGOs, lobbying groups, and mass-media outlets responsible for generating these events chose “Tea Party” as their name demonstrates a blatant desire to co-opt lingering feelings of violent discontent (currently mostly fascist, but also potentially anarchist) being nursed by the masses.

The fact is that sing had a line throw it to say get rid of this socialist government and bring back this country to it former republic and stop taken away our bill of right. Next it there where all walk of life at the protest and it was peaceful

  4. Ed says:

If the Tea Party is not about racism, what is the ____ISM? If you look at the Tea Party posters, you would think it was about communism. The raised clutched fist was only missing a hammer and sickle. If you look at their agenda, you would think it was about fascism because of the corporatist economic ideology . You hide under the labels of patriotism and populism. (Ahh! Sam Adams and Bud Light in one sentence.) You seem to depressed by the fact the the POTENTIAL greatest depression was averted by government spending. (Would you have been happier if everybody lost everything??!) In truth, you believe in ANARCHISM, because you believe that the federal government (at least one led by a black man) is oppressive and undesirable and should be abolished. Did I sum it up correctly?
