Time to show them what a REAL grassroots MOB looks like!

logo

In case you missed it, the Democrat National Committee, with a ton of help from far left bloggers and special interest groups, went on the attack against Americans who dared to state their dislike of government run healthcare.

The DNC put out this ad earlier today.

Did you catch that? They allege that we’re all a bunch of extremist who are leading an effort of mob rule fueled by special interests.

Which is ironic considering the fact that the pro-Obamacare rallies are completely Astroturf events, run by powerful lobbyists, special interest groups and wealthy liberal donors.

If advocating free speech, peaceful dissent, individual liberty and fiscal responsibility makes us a mob… we’ll take the label.

We’ll be launching a new campaign called “The People’s Mob” here shortly. Watch the site for updates.

While you’re waiting, you can join the Facebook Group and get plugged in early.

No Outrageous Waste. Cut taxes now. Eliminate unneded programs. Why do we subsidise sugar beets to keep the cost higher for Americans. The government collects taxes from Americans so the sugar producers can charge the consumers more. Then the government gives money to the sugar producers in other countries via foreign aid. The american taxpayer/consumer pays three ways. eliminate the sugar support program. No Outrageous Waste N.O.W. Research sugar subsidies. We have a competative advanage in soybeans. Let’s grow soybeans.

  2. Bill Grimes-Wyatt says:

Big government must be cut. Bill Clinton stated that the era of big government is over. The left response to the public outcry is to blame Bush for his excesses. I never supported very many of the Bush programs. His failure to rein in government does not excuse obama’s attempt to expand government. Reduce the government

One step is to stop the wasteful spending on PBS and Public radio. Not in three years, NOW.

  3. Mac Arthor says:

Where was all of this outrage at government spending and intrusion when GW was in office! He coordinated the largest transfer of wealth in the history of man in the guise of funding a war, and virtually invalidated the constitution with his Patriot Act. Where were your tea parties then? At least Obama’s spending is being spent on American’s. The only reason why you are in opposition to Obama is because he is Black. I’ve seen the pictures with your ignorant and racist caricatures of The President. You think its clever and funny, and somehow justified, but you demean and lower yourself. But you know what, he doesn’t need you or the republicans. His health bill will pass anyway, and your worse fears will be realized. It will be successful. The lies propagated by racist hate mongers hiding behind political outrage to undermine President Obama’s efforts to ensure ALL Americans have some form of health care will be put to the truth and revealed as totally unfounded. All you racist tea-partiers will be forced to eat crow. What will your racist antics make you look like then? How will you feel then? Let me tell you: awfully stupid.

  4. Alex says:

Everyone who supports this tea party balony is an idiot. There is a widely used saying in american, its better to go with the lesser of two evils. And Obama is Definitely lesser of the evils. Did you all forget that federal government has never been bloated as it did in the 8 years of the bush Reign of terror. How much money gets lost in the endless beauracracy and rediculous government agencies like the department of the homeland defense which spends it on immigration. We need to cut spending in places that need to be cut. I think universal health care is neccessary in this country with the availbility of private healthcare and denied access for illegal immigrants. But Atleast when the democratic so called dogs start spending money…its on its own peoples well being instead of on corporate financial gain.

  5. Alex Williamson says:

Hey, if anyone wants a 3”by5” obama joker that says socialism email me at aewilliamson@email.msmary.edu its one buck a sticker

  6. Steven M. Osheyack says:

    REMOVE THE BULLSEYE

The anger is building with intensity and it is sweeping across the United States without the support or coverage of the corporate mainstream media. In fact, it should be obvious to most people who are paying attention that the media’s planned ignoring of the very large and very orderly anti-big government demonstrations in Washington on 9/12/09, and their failure to report the recent ACORN scandal is similar to the Iranian government’s media black-out of the demonstrations, which occurred in that country a few months back. A chilling comparison? News is news, except, I suppose when they decide it is not.

The message of dissent is being spread by word of mouth, in churches and synagogues, mosques, barbershops, diners and via the internet. There is unmitigated and dam-busting outrage and urgency sweeping like torrential flood waters through the mountains and valleys, the country roads and the city streets of the United States of America. Our nation’s once mighty economy has been ransacked and riddled with astronomical debt through several decades, as the money men who really control this nation were provided cover by greedy politicians selling snake oil and easy living to the American public. We were easy targets, but I for one have removed the bulls eye from my back and I would urge you to do the same. Only now is the true extent of the monumental damage done by current and former presidential administrations and a corrupt congress coming to light. We are in deep water folks and I wouldn’t buy a word of what they are claiming of a so-called economic recovery in progress. The simple fact is, you can not have an economic recovery without also having jobs and industry to run its engine. Hmm…perhaps they forgot that little part?

Yet with all that we know, with all the lies that we are hearing from the Democrats and the Republicans, they continue to maintain the facade, and the mainstream media is their primary weapon right now. There is sweeping blame and criminal indictments that should have been meted out on both sides of the party aisles in government, yet no one has been held accountable. No one in the media is DEMANDING that they be held accountable. Isn’t that strange? Instead the powerbrokers gave the American public their Judas in the form of Bernard Madoff, while many other wealthy white shirt criminals hid behind the mantle of power and some even were rewarded with high priced government jobs. The Federal Reserve is cowering from full disclosure regarding where the money really went that was spent to “rescue” the economy, claiming that if it ever was made public, it would have catastrophic consequences. This is tantamount to a veiled threat, as if their actions prior to the financial meltdown did not have calamitous effect? Come on, who are they kidding! The fact of the matter is, if it were divulged, the American people would be breaking out a big sticky barrel of tar and a bag of fluffy feathers and storming Washington. They know it and we know it. We are not stupid and the same game of deception will no longer work.

With all that said, the single most disturbing thing of all, is the fact that some of our American brethren are still playing the Demo-publican game and have not yet been awoken from the mass hypnosis We need to help them to see the facts. We need to point out to them that the media in our country is no longer free and has not been, for quite some time. In fact, the media is owned by the very same money men who own our government. We need to open their eyes to the scam that the Republicans and Democrats are running on the people of the US, in order to maintain the status quo for the jerks pulling the strings in the background. There was once a time when Americans stood up for themselves and held our leaders’ feet to the fire, but it seems that some people in the general public will now remain content just as long as they have their television, video games and computer to entertain them. It seems that some Americans are okay with the idea of being sedentary armchair quarterbacks, with singular opinions voiced only in the privacy of their own homes. They have forgotten that our nation was built upon the participation of its populace. In fact, our present day government has come to accept and depend upon its citizens to be piles of spineless mush. They like it better that way. We are much easier to control and mold when we don’t have opinions.

Some think that watching CNN, MSNBC or Fox News qualifies for participation as we listen to the talking heads offer commentary, telling us what to think and providing us with the talking points to justify our opinions with righteous indignation. It can be exhausting watching them argue and boy do they sound oh so much smarter than us! Don’t believe it for a second. It is time to turn off the Media News Spin Masters. They are spewing falsehoods and half-truths in 30 second sound bytes. They have a very large vested interest in maintaining the status quo. A free press is one of the main indicators of freedom and we no longer enjoy this luxury. Instead, we have a corporate press whether you like it or not…whether you believe it or not.

Even our nation’s leadership seems confused about how to respond to the little bit of dissent that has recently presented itself at the now infamous Town Hall meetings. We have reduced our nation to a game show and reality show mixed into one with commercials interspersed, to advise us on all the products needed to be successful and popular. If you’re a Democrat, your “team” can do no wrong and if you are a Republican, you are hoping for a fumble inside your opponent’s 20 yard line. Is this what we’ve come to? A game show? A sporting event? Is this the United States that we truly want to leave for our children? Should we not be ashamed of ourselves?

We have become the “Stepford Nation”, where dissent is muted and is unwelcome and we apparently have lost the capacity to think for ourselves, or so they’d like us to believe. The Republicans and the Democrats have melded into one machine, with two faces, pretending disdain for each other while the cameras are rolling, but neither party offering anything substantive to fix our nation’s problems. If you vote for the Republicans, they vow to support free enterprise and dole out really big tax breaks and schemes to their greedy and crappy friends who financed their campaigns. If you vote for the Democrats, they give your tax money to others as entitlements that just keep adding up as new program expenditures we can not afford and which ultimately benefits the same set of greedy and crappy friends through cushy jobs and long term government contracts. Either way, we are broke and we’ve been broke for quite some time, yet, they just keep spending our money in Washington.

We are witnessing prices steadily rising across great swaths of the consumer sector and inflation is creeping into all corners of our lives and it appears that most people are resigned to offering their other cheek up to be slapped silly. Sure the stock market dances and flutters up, but no one gives a thought to the fact that it is responding to inflation. No one gives a thought to the fact that interests rate have been kept artificially low for quite some time. No one even questions it.

The stock market is not a true barometer of our fiscal health, it is only an indicator of inflation and investor emotions. It really doesn’t offer a clue to what is really going on behind the scenes. In fact many market strategists are reporting that corporate leaders are quietly dumping stocks at the greatest rate they have ever seen. If things were so rosy and stocks were such a good investment, do you think this would be occurring, or do they know something we do not? Our future is really tied to the dollar when compared with other world currencies, but very little is said or reported about this simple concept and very few people understand that the dollar is collapsing before our eyes.

Democrats and Republicans have built a canyon with steep sides within our society to the point that there is no longer room in the middle. We are only visible on the edges. Those who oppose their views are called extremists and its’ all about building boxes to divide and conqueror us, to crush our will. The Republicans are trying to capture this dissent within their realm, to gain political points, but they don’t seem to realize that the anger is just as much directed at them. The people are angry at all of them. We are angry with the politics that just keeps ignoring our nation’s real problems.

Yet with all that we know, there are still Americans under the spell of the media and big government. They don’t seem to understand, don’t care, don’t accept or are in denial about the severity of our nation’s economic condition and our leaders complete and total dereliction of their duties. They are still tied into the old paradigm of Republican vs. Democrat…Liberal vs. Conservative….Red States vs. Blue States….Us against Them. We will have none of it anymore. The game is done.

Health care reform or no health care reform, doesn’t really matter at this point. The debate is futile and senseless. We can not afford it now and if it is passed, we will not be able to afford it in the future either, but some people just don’t get it. They are not seeing it, even though it is a huge pus-filled reddened and swollen pimple sitting pretty on our nation’s face. Perhaps it is the culture of credit and entitlement that has been encouraged by a government gone wild. I do not know the answer, but I do know that we are setting ourselves and our children up to be debt slaves forever more.

Clearly, we are approaching critical mass as more and more people realize that this is not your typical financial armageddon. We are in too deep a hole to be able to climb out and there are too many other nations standing at the edge, kicking dirt in our faces as we attempt to claw our way out. The only real chance we have as a nation is to turn out the professional politicians through the election process and return America back to the people. All our actions need to be directed towards this goal. We will need to ignore the hypnotic bullhorn of the mainstream media and cut a new road where their cameras and bubble headed bleach blonde reporters are scared to go. We need to tell them that we no longer need them to tell us what to think. We need to put them on the defensive and leave them behind, because they are no longer relevant. They are no longer truth tellers. In fact this is all that I expect from my President, my Congressional Representative and the evening news. The truth. If they can not do this any longer than we need to find people who can. Because without the truth, we have nothing worth saving.

  10. Cereal Killer says:

Well for one I am sick of hearing about this health care “cover up” !
The reason I say cover up is “WHAT ABOUT THE JOBS”!!!
he has drawn everyone attention to heath care and not job …. and for Gods sake the uncontrolled outsourcing of US jobs!!!

and we the little people should not be paying the taxes …. at all.
companies like Wal-Mart and the likes that imports millions of US dollars worth of cheap China shit…. What about Microsoft and Apple ??? Tax the hell out of them and force them to bring back our jobs !

I really don’t care what happens at this point as I have lost respect and love for the US …. I just want to work so that I can GET OUT !

  11. Erik Prides says:

Both in your language and in the symbols you display at your rallies, such as the one today in D.C., you certainly are honest in portraying yourselves for what you are:
    1. ‘A real mob’
    2. ‘Swastika’ The symbol of the most extreme form of right wing politics, namely, fascism.

We have been too polite for too long. These crooks in Washington need to be fired and replacements hired through voting. We must closely monitor the performance of the new breed and if they stray, we vote them out and new ones in to office. We must demand term limits. We need not ask politely. We must demand!

  13. Steven M. Osheyack says:

Running in stealth mode, below the surface of the false reality painted by the corporate-owned media, is the truth that they do not want us to know. Who “they” are is always different, depending upon who you ask, but it all comes back to the age-old struggle of those in power trying to maintain power, and those without, trying to keep their head above water. And the truth they don’t want us to know? The truth is that we are far beyond bankrupt as a nation and well beyond returning to the United States that we once knew. We’ve been robbed in broad daylight by rich and powerful people, who crave even more power and never-ending mountains of riches!

You would think that those with power would be happy with the riches that they already have, but that is not how they work. People in power are ravenously addicted to it. They crave even more power, never satisfied, and that is why they ultimately expose their hand, because they are blinded by their own addiction. This is what we are seeing today unfolding in the world financial system and it is why the United States continues to hang by a thread. There has been a gradual realignment of the checks and balances in the United States government, in favor of the elite. It has been redrawn systematically to favor the few. We didn’t see it at first, because it was so well disguised, but ultimately as time has gone by, it has become more boorishly apparent and now it is gnawing at the very underpinnings of our nation. You can see it in the haunted eyes of Tim Geithner, Ben Bernanke and Henry Paulson, as you watch them testifying before Congress. Eyes shifting and voices quivering. They are scared and fearful that the game is in the process of being discovered. They weigh every word and measure it against the impact a slip of the tongue might create for the power elite.

The fact that some people are now seeing it for what it is, was inevitable, but the real story is how few people still refuse to acknowledge what is going on. The fact that we are debating health care reform at all is a case in point. It is beyond incredulous and almost cartoonish that we would be discussing further growth in government when it is clear for all to see that the US is bankrupt and the deficit is beyond repair. America’s form of government is certainly imperfect, but it was the best the world has ever seen, when it served the citizens as a guardian of the free market, but unfortunately, that is not what is occurring in today’s world and in our dear beloved country. Unfortunately, we have become “has-beens” on the international stage and in our own backyards. Today, the United States government exists to serve the corporate interests of the powerful elite and in this manner, our government is no different than an oligarchy. We once understood that the United States was a Republic, in the sole business of protecting the rights of the minority. Sadly, ask most people today whether our country is a Republic or a Democracy and they will look quizzically upon you as if it is a trick question.

The most glaring examples of the way the elite control things is contained within the lessons of the “Versus Matrix”. This is an updated and sleek version of the ancient “divide and conquer” theory of control, and its’ purpose is to compartmentalize Americans in opposition to each other and create a buffer, a moat, if you will, between the government and its’ very citizens. This control mechanism is meant to alienate and dis-empower people and has led to a disenfranchised American public, who do not believe that their voice makes a difference any longer. This is in direct correlation to the declining percentage of Americans exercising their right to vote. The Versus Matrix’s primary goal is to divide the United States population into controllable quadrants that are pitted against one another and by doing so, keeping the masses from seeing the sleight of hand playing in the background as big money is changing hands, which by the way is our money.

However, just like every other pathetic addict, they become enamored with themselves and believe themselves to be untouchable and then they get sloppy and arrogant in their handiwork as they are doing now. Slowly, people begin to finally see the truth, until the truth comes charging out of the darkened tunnel into the light of day, like a starving bull raging into Walmart on Black Friday.

We are approaching the point of critical mass, but our leaders continue to play the game of politics. The lies and misinformation coming out of Washington are building in crescendo with each and every day and some people are sensing that this time, things are different somehow. We are in deep water and deeper trouble and our nation is dying in our arms and yet no one in government seems willing to make the difficult decisions necessary to save its’ soul. The irony is that they are debating healthcare, but no one in government seems to understand that the real patient needing our care is the nation itself, drowning in a sea of debt.

We sense that no one is telling us the truth. The Republicans and the Democrats drone on like robotic droids, but the game is getting old. Once you understand that we have crossed the Rubicon, there is a helpless sense of loss that we have abandoned ship and all the lifeboats have been cut loose. Some of us have reached the deck to find a powerful storm engulfing our ship, throwing wave after wave against our once solid hull. We hear the muffled moans and cracking sounds of a ship being torn apart, while below deck the masses are living within insulated cocoons listening to the gentle hum of the mainstream media, oblivious to the coming destruction. It would almost be better not to know, but it is too late. We know. There is no turning back. We take our stations on the ship and try to fight the angry waves and searing winds, but we are amateurs. No one prepared us for this.

What we know is that we are fighting now for the very survival of the United States. We are fighting with the pen, which is now in the form of the computer and keyboard, mounted in our living rooms and connecting us to others who also know the truth. We are reaching out to our friends and families, trying to call out to them, to warn them of the impending collision that is now inevitable, at the risk of sounding like nut jobs, and sometimes believing it to be so. Such is the power of their hypnotic message. The powerful elite controls the media airwaves and they are trying to drown us out and separate us, breaking us up into groups they call extremists, all the while they are perpetrating the lies needed to maintain the facade. They want us to believe that it is useless to fight their machine and that we need not try to throw ourselves onto the gears and levers to jam the works, but it is our only hope. Enough of us will need to rise up and swarm the deck, to demonstrate the rising tide of discontent. We will need to stand up, without fear and speak in a loud clear voice. We will need to rise from the comfort of our living rooms and march forward to demand that our government return to its roots of liberty and freedom, rejecting outright the malaise of entitlement that has poisoned America.

Innovation and creativity once defined this nation, and from the ashes we will rise again, but only if we reconnect with the courageous spirit of America. The spirit which proclaims that we are a nation of diverse people, who all cherish the freedoms that come from the sweat and sacrifice of our work. The spirit which proclaims that our journey through life is our own personal responsibility, where no guarantees are expected. A spirit which always strives for justice and equality and honors the rule of law for all people, regardless of wealth. This ideal is not only possible, it is in fact our destiny.

    All hands on deck.

  16. Steven M. Osheyack says:

    THE MEDIA FIX IS IN!

We live in the fast-paced world of visually-correct sound byte media, where a story is a story for all of five minutes before the next salacious story begins to blur and displace the previous one. Have you ever considered that this is a mass media control method? They can continuously keep dissenters off center by changing the focus of the news and packaging it into spoon-sized portions, all the while intermingling it with celebrity gossip and visual images. After all, those corporate people who control the message - control society.

Most citizens of the United States believe that we have a free press, but it is merely artificial window dressing. In some ways, it is much more dangerous than the media in a visibly authoritarian society, where it is publicly acknowledged that the government controls the message. In that world, everybody knows and expects the news from the government to be skewed and so the masses don’t believe it. In the United States, the idea that we have a free press is simply an insult to our intelligence. Most people would be shocked to know that the major media outlets are controlled by just five companies, who all have a vested interest in what happens in the world, the market and in your home. These five companies decide what news we will hear and what we will not hear. They engineer every aspect of our lives from a corporate viewpoint. They sensationalize tragedy, sexualize our youth at an earlier age than ever before and have turned our society into a consumer-driven land where materialism is god.

More and more people are realizing this and that is why they are turning to alternative news sources on the web, because they know that the information they are being spoon fed by the mainstream media is filled with editorial viewpoints that must first be approved by the corporate empires, who also coincidentally own our congressional representatives. It is by sleight of hand that our own government is being engineered by those same corporations. They fund the campaigns to install people into power, usually funding both candidates and then expecting paybacks from the victor. Those who think that Mr. Obama and his rise to power is any different than any other President before him are living a fantasy. He was selected, packaged and sold to the public. His dirty laundry was washed and sanitized in order to make it more palatable. This has been the case throughout recent history.

Let’s take a short trip back to the Iranian riots that followed the Iranian Presidential elections only a short time ago. The Iranian people were demonstrating against their government for what they perceived to be a rigged election and the demonstrations were growing in their tenacity and then all of a sudden, the U.S. news media changed direction and we rarely heard of the Iranian dissent any longer, even though it is still occurring. Even though mass trials are being held, and people are being executed for demonstrating against their government, there is little information being provided on these events. Isn’t it strange that the absence of Iran news stories dropped off at the same time that the Town Hall meetings were cycling up? Why do you suppose that would be? Do you think that they feared the images of people rioting in the streets would encourage dissent within the United States at a time when people in the US were waking up to the truths that our own government has been disingenuous, to say the least, about our real economic situation? Then consider the way they packaged the people who showed up at the Town Hall meetings as right wing extremists. Do you think that might have been purposeful to contain and stigmatize dissent to attempt to control a groundswell grassroots movement that was and is still growing?

So, what do we do? We must question everything. We must read all viewpoints on all issues and educate ourselves. We make up our own minds and stop relying on the mainstream media for all our information. We turn the TV off for long periods of time and talk to each other in our families and neighborhoods, instead of watching sitcom families interact with each other. We take ownership of our own intellect and disconnect from the mass media education centers. We thoroughly analyze issues and we don’t succumb to the world of sound byte journalism where everything is reduced to “talking points” presented by pretty people with big hair, who are reading from teleprompters. We stay focused on the issues that will affect our children and keep asking questions and demanding answers. We don’t let go - EVER. We write our Congressional Representatives and continue to do so, even if they don’t acknowledge the correspondence. In short, we exercise our rights to free speech and stop leaving it to the next guy to do it. In short, we keep yelling that we are mad as hell and we are not going to take it any more!

    Sincerely,

    COMING SOON TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!

Wow! I mean big Wow!! We are approaching fiscal critical mass and most people don’t even see it coming! The level of societal brain washing is stunning. It is very Orwellian. You would think that with the amount of science fiction that we absorb in this country as entertainment, we’d be a little more radar sensitive. Of course, the other variable is the way conspiracy theorists have been marginalized. Mention “conspiracy” and people hear “nut job”. This makes any explanation outside of the mainstream seem fanciful. In fact, the mainstream media, controlled by a small group of money men, has been a powerful and effective weapon of control against the American people. Despite all the scandalous lies that the American people have recently been told by their elected officials, they still continue to believe what the government is saying. It is amazing! People are waking up, but, it seems, in too few a number to reasonably effect the outcome. Even those who believe themselves to be well-informed, because they watch CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, etc. in order to get a mix of news and hear all points of view, don’t seem to understand that they are being led to the shearing room. The mainstream media is like eating cotton candy. It looks all tasty and poofy, until you put it in your mouth - then it dissolves instantly, its’ not good for you and it is full of empty calories that will rot your teeth, but along the way it still tastes great.

As one emerges from the fog of distortions, half truths, and outright lies, it is enough to take your breath away. For example, the whole health care debate is fantasy. Sure healthcare needs reforming, but who in their right mind believes that the federal government is capable of managing it, given their stellar track record with running ANYTHING? Both parties - all owned by the money men, with not an ounce of American patriotism, have run our economy into the rocks, while we sat onboard as sleeping passengers. Yet, sound byte after sound byte from the mainstream of media focuses on health care reform, as if we have the money to spend, and yet the powers again are trying to mold the debate into a right vs. left issue. It is nothing of the sort. Its’ a “we’re broke, can’t afford changes right now, let’s get our act together first” issue.

We’ve all seen the Town Hall videos. The people protesting are not conservative right wing neo-nazis as Nancy Pelosi would have you believe, these are your next door neighbors on Main Street. Now, the right wingers have joined the game and are also presenting as if they represent America’s heartland interests. The real people protesting are tired of politics, they are tired of the game and they understand that both parties have pilfered our pockets and stolen our American dream from us in broad daylight. The real shocking truth is that the Town Hall protesters are being forced into the right wing mold and the rest of society is buying the game. They are trying to make this into an anti-Obama referendum and even Obama is now on record stating that he believes there is a vast right wing conspiracy out to get him. Folks, its’ the same old game! Its’ called divide and conquer and both sides, Republicans and Democrat are full of endless crap!!! Its’ like watching professional wrestling when you know the fix is in. In short. they are working together towards a common goal of bankrupting America.

Then, over in the shadows you have our friendly Goldm- er - Fed Chairman, Benny Bernanke, who is on record as missing the indicators for the recession/depression back in 2006-2007. (Pull it up on the internet if you don’t believe me.) Either the man is a liar, not a very good economist, or he’s working for a very select group of people, who don’t represent the interests of the American people. Yet Benny has the nerve to say this past Friday that all is well and we are through the storm and the stock market magically jumps up on his command like a marionette puppet! People overlook his past performance, while they should really be questioning why he was given the post in the first place, given his failure to see the trees in the forest! People believe his story that just because the stock market is showing gains that this means we are returning to normalcy. Folks, you can not have a jobless recovery!!! You can not replace full-time jobs with part time jobs and claim you have created jobs. These bankers and politicians have not created jobs, they don’t have a clue what it means to build a business and they have already proven they don’t know how to manage a budget. Yet millions believe them and are re-entering the stock market feeling its’ finally safe. It is not. The powers that be are trying to prop up the old “debt as money scheme.” Its’ a lot like smoke and mirrors. You see, in the absence of industry, a manufacturing base in the United States, the only real way we can create money is by lending money and creating interest, which creates more money. Its’ a vicious cycle of debt slavery and we have been coerced into the game while we were stripped of our industry. The truth is, we will not recover until we begin to rebuild our manufacturing base.

The stock market is reacting to words, not reality! If you want the truth, look at the US Dollar index. It has been in decline for months and soon it will be in frantic free fall when other countries begin their recovery without the United States. They are already realizing they do not need us and in fact that we are a liability. We are like crazy old cousin Ned, who only comes around when he needs a loan, They have begun to make investments in other countries, rather than pouring money into our treasury bonds, because they know we are not good for the money. The value of the dollar will drop as it will no longer be seen as a valued currency. This will trigger inflation, which in fact has already begun to creep into segments of the economy. Stop and think for a moment about this so-called recovery. The only sectors of the economy showing any “green shoots” are those that have received federal dollars to prop them up. People don’t seem to get the picture that we are being led to slaughter and the powers are purposely running up the stock market so the elites can skin us one more time, before the house of cards comes cascading down.

So what happens next? You can expect a massive breakdown in society, with looting and unfortunately - an increase in violence. Think about it. There are millions of people who don’t get it, who still believe that all is well, who will soon come to a realization that things are not at all well. To put it mildly, they will be angry, frantic and desperate as things deteriorate. You also have millions of people that have been raised with every entitlement program known to human kind and have come to depend on the government to sustain their life. They will believe themselves to be righteous in taking other people’s property in the dead of the night and also during the light of day. There are also extremists on both ends of the political spectrum who are stirring the pot with their own agendas. Lastly, you have the Goldman Sachs-owned U.S. government and the American military. I would suggest you do some research into what took place following the Soviet Union meltdown. It will help you understand where we are headed.

You can expect martial law, shortages of food and drinkable water as local governments run out of capital, interruptions in the power grid, looting and vigilante gangs. It won’t quite look like a Mad Max movie, but there will be moments when you will wonder. You will witness people doing things you have never seen before as people are pushed to the edge of sanity. The quirky thing will be that the media will be pumping in government propaganda, intertwined with reruns, reality shows, and a new show called “New World Order Idols”. Across the greater part of society, people will have no respect whatsoever for government or authority, which will further add to the problem, as even honorable leaders will be ignored. Former corrupt leaders and powerful people will be rounded up and tried in mock trials to appease the people, but the true money masters will escape justice.

This is not conjecture on my part. This is based upon documented accounts of what has occurred in other societies facing and then running headlong into economic collapse. Once the debris has been swept away and we are tired of the madness, there will come a time when we will have the opportunity rebuild the United States in its original image, as the leader of free nations. We can either set a good strong foundation for our children and grandchildren to build upon, or we can fail them one more time by allowing the money masters to roll over our lives and squeeze every last vestige of hope and spirit from our being. The choice is ours.

  18. Jerald In Texas says:

My disappointment is only growing with the way y’all keep aligning our movement with the republican party. Let’s not forget, they did an incredible amount of damage themselves. The only reason they give us any attention whatsoever is the possibility we may help them come next election. Stop being kool-aid drinkers, and wake up. The republicans are the very same big spending, constitution stomping hate mongerers as the democrats, just a different mascot. The two party system that our country uses, has destroyed personal liberty, and our economy. I saw gov Perry (governor “hair spray”) in an interview bragging about our surplus in Texas, claiming no taxes have been raised to achieve this feat. Two years ago, the state of Texas raised tobacco taxes by a dollar a pack if I’m not mistaken. Now this may not affect but a small portion of Texans, but it is still a tax increase nonetheless. I believe Sean Hannity used the same cigarette tax ploy on Obama with his promise that people making under 250,000 a year wouldn’t see a tax increase in any form. Hey Sean, what about republicans doing the same thing? Both parties are guilty of taxing us to death. Time to give them the boot.

  19. Josh Irving says:

Can’t make it to Washington, DC? Join us downtown Fort Worth, Texas on Sept 12, 2009 as we exercise our right to peaceably assemble and redress our griefs against the federal government. The keynote speaker for the 912 March & Rally is Judge Andrew Napolitano. We’re are hoping to make this the largest march / rally on Sept 12, second to the one in Washington, DC. Find out more at http://912ftw.org/march.

  20. Al Thomas says:

Letting them know how we feel in the town hall meetings is a good start but not enough. What date does congress reconvien? They should have a reception committee when they go back to work, of a few million unhappy voters.

WITH THE GRASSROOT AMERICANS EXPRESSING THEIR OPINON ABOUT NOT WANTING SOCIALIZED MEDICINE AND STOP THE SPENDING, MOST AMERICANS DON’T REALIZED THE WHEELS ARE ALREADY IN MOTION TO TAKE AWAY THEIR FREEDOM OF MEDICAL CHOICES. IN FEB 2009 THE PRESIDENT PUT IN THE STIMULATES PACKAGE MONEY TO HAVE ALL MEDICAL RECORDS COPIED ONTO COMPUTORS NOT FOR THE PATIENT’S PROTECTION, BUT TO KNOW WHAT EVERY PERSONS HEALTH ISSUES ARE. THE MEDICAL PRACTICE BY LAW IS REQUIRED TO DO THIS BY A CERTAIN TIME OR ALL MEDICARE PAYMENTS WILL BE STOPPED FOR THAT OFFICE OR HOSPITAL.. THE PRESIDENT HAS ALREADY ESTABLISHED 2 PANELS TO START DETERMINING THE NEW RULES OF WHO QUALIFIES FOR WHAT. THIS IS NOT FREEDOM FOR WHAT OUR FOUNDING FATHER WROTE INTO THE CONSTITUTION. IN FACT HEALTH CARE ISN’T EVEN MENTIONED.

  22. Clifton V. Steelman says:

I agree that politicians following the money has exposed the failure of extremism on the left and the blind siding of the capitalist on the right.
It is of utmost importance that we understand how we arrived at this place, a financially broke America.

When I think of the fast moves being made that threaten the future of capitalism I see the beliefs of persons trained in communism and that international cause.

    How?
??Does false accusations of those who question the direction of this administration sound more like a criminal code of conduct rather than sincere diplomacy? Does communist morality permit this?
Lenin: We say: Morality is that which serves to destroy the old exploiting society and to unite all the toilers around the proletariat, which is creating a new communist society. Communist morality is the morality which serves this struggle…”
V.1. Lenin, “Selected works,” Vol. IX, p. 477

From the point of view of communist morality, only those acts are moral which contribute to the building up of a new communist society.
    Radio Moscow, August 20, 1950.
?? Assuming communism were right, would that justify a communist in lying, stealing, or killing to put communism into effect?

  23. Joel says:

An insane amount of tax dollars have gone for decades towards weaponry that even the military says is useless, towards subsidizing tobacco farmers and other industries, but the thing that’s got people screaming is…healthcare? Really? Aside from the fact that Obama is bending over backwards (too far in the opinion of this universal coverage advocate) to accommodate the current, industry-driven system, we have this Fox/Rush-fueled rage towards something as basic as healthcare. Keep bashing Canada’s system if you want, but they live longer, have a lower infant mortality rate and lower obesity levels. Why don’t we privatize the police force and fire departments if putting out physical well-being under government oversight is so terrible. Stop regurgitating the talking points and do some research.

  24. Nath Taylor says:

ITIN Numbers – Pay No Taxes?

ITIN – Individual Tax Identification Numbers
    • ITIN Numbers are mainly assigned to Undocumented Workers who are not eligible for SS Numbers; so why are they given an ITIN to report illegal work earnings?
    • ITIN holders receive large Tax Refunds without contributing to the Tax System.
    • Go to IRS.GOV web site and enter in search box: Form W-7, it is used for the ITIN process and it allows ITIN holders to obtain numbers for family members who are here illegally or who live outside the US.
    • Go to IRS Publication 17 – page 30 and read how people can claim persons who are residents of Mexico and Canada who live out the country who are not US Citizens.
At the present time it is only two countries, but in the future by next year the US plans
to allow 3 other countries to claim people from out of the US who are not Citizens.
    • For each dependent you claim you can receive $3500 off your taxable income for this past tax year, see IRS form 1040 Line 42. The more people you claim, your tax liability may be reduced to zero and you pay No Taxes and you may receive a large refund check.
Now do you still wonder why the US is going broke?

Go to ftb.ca.gov (CA Franchise Tax Board) and search for Form 540. Look in the upper right hand corner and view the words SSN or ITIN. Yes, the state of California is advertising this ITIN number on their form. But if Undocumented Workers by Law are not suppose to be working in this country without going through immigration; why does California have this ITIN Number item on their state form? To promote and turnover the work force with Undocumented Workers taking jobs from US Citizens? This is Unconstitutional and Unacceptable!
Why are US Citizens paying all the Taxes,
while most ITIN Numbers are not paying any Taxes?

You can Thank the US Politicians who put Undocumented Workers above US Citizens. They take your Tax money and make provisions and laws to protect and service UW, while families are suffering through financial difficulties all over the country. Most UW are not paying any taxes and are receiving large refunds from the IRS and California State. Go to this link below to see the Treasury Report Article about Billions of dollars being paid out to ITIN Number holders. http://www.greeleytribune.com/article/20090504/NEWS/905049995/1001

ITIN Numbers are sending for Multitudes of People

They send for relatives and people out of the country and then those people come to the US and they send for more people from out of the country and the cycle keep going on. While US Citizens are prosecuted for not paying taxes, ITIN Numbers are Not. They are bankrupting the US and Not Contributing to the Tax system, and now they are demanding AMNESTY for illegals.

Thanks for posting this ad. You tax tea party guys are nuts. Let’s not forget who was responsible for the biggest deficits before Obama came into office. George W. Bush. Also, who has been responsible for the biggest increase in socialist program spending since FDR….. you got it George W. Bush… that’s right! Bush pushed through Medicare Part D, which IS socialized medicine, if anything is.

I think I’m going to post this DNC ad on my Facebook page, because it accurately portrays you guys… you are nothing but a lynch mob.

  27. Aaron says:

Oh my goodness it feels so great to hear those words guys. You have no idea how much frustration has been lifted, me thinking im the only sane person around. Americans need to work together democrat or republican makes no difference when we’re all in this together. I am with you 100% How can I help?

  28. MBB says:

Please save the platitudes and back patting for your minions. The Right Wing and specifically the Republican Party has been hijacked by big money corporate special interists. Everyone that attends and disrupts town hall meetings on health care is a pawn for the helath insurance and drug comopanies; helping them futher an agenda that is contrairy to the well being of the american public.
If you choose to attend/disrupt these meetings beacuse you are upset over the results of the 08′ election i ask that you drop the proxy debate over health care and admit that you are a racest biggot and be done with it.
I find it very firghtining how the right, funded by their sorporate sponcers has threatened overtly and convertly to persue violent means in their crucade to undermine an election

  29. Leslie Weaver says:

Thank you, Mr. Osheyack. I couldn’t have said it better myself. I am just a wife and mother who is concerned with the fate of my nation; but more importantly, my children’s nation. What of liberty and freedom will be left for them in 5, 10 or 20 years? Will people like you and I still be fighting the progressive thinkers of our government who have forgotten that they are working for us- The American Citizens? Or will the fight have been lost?

As long as I live, I promise to fight for my liberties- my God-given rights according to the Constitution of the United States. The rights my grandfather fought so hard for in WWII. The rights that my brother swore to defend as a US Marine. The rights that so many soldiers whose names I don’t know are fighting for RIGHT NOW. I find myself an ordinary citizen empowered by an extraordinary document. The Constitution of the United States. God help us all if we turn our backs on the most powerful document on Earth and let the vultures of our government shred it to pieces. God help us all.

  30. Dianne says:

Well said, Steven. I agree with you completely.

  31. Fred Flintstone says:

    You dorks.

Do you actually think things can go on without changes?

If things do not change, we will all be sucked dry by ‘conservative’ interests.

Send the hooligans home and come up with some real ideas.

  32. Dennis Cline says:

I am a Vietnam vet and I fought for the right for
freedom for Americans now we have to fight again
    to take back America.

  33. Bill says:

Here is something we ALL can do. Obama and his minions want Americans to SNITCH on fellow Americans, because they are feeling the heat getting turned up! I say we turn it up another notch.
He has asked for the snitches to send emails to: flag@whitehouse.gov
I say we save them the trouble. Be PROUD to stand up and tell Obama what you think! The following can be cut and pasted with your name in place. And remember, no one said you had to send only one!
Flood them with more than they can handle. Help remind our fearful leader what he asks for is not always what he will receive!
    God Bless America!

    Dear Mr. Usurper:

I consider myself a Patriot to the tune of being totally against everything you stand for. I know you “hate” our Country and you prove it on a daily basis. Your new “snitch” program is just another example of your desire to silence a growing number of people who are starting to turn against you.

Mr. Usurper, I hereby turn myself in. I decided a long time ago I will fight you and your liberal fascist beliefs until the day I die.

Your health care program is pure evil. In the long run your government plan will kill millions by refusing to provide coverage to those citizens in our society whom we treasure the most: our parents, our grandparents and our senior citizens that worked their entire lives to provide for and protect our beautiful Country.

    With little respect,

  34. Rodney Bretz says:

either give me your insurance plan or you tke my insurance plan!!

  35. College Student says:

I wonder how many people have been hurt at these rallies..

I wonder how many kids lost faith in their ignorant parents who went to these rallies and made clowns of themselves using tossed together slogans and catch-phrases that fail in their attempt to link them to founding fathers..

I wonder why when an adult protests something outrageous and unfair they’re sticking up for what’s right, but when a teenager or college student does it they’re ignorant to what’s really going on or have been hired by the “media elite”.

You know what I wonder most though? Why we can’t all just get along. You know, do things like girl scouts tend to. Work together, help each other out, and in general when we have a problem with someone not spend months not confronting the issue with the person directly but instead waste our time getting a bunch of people who were going along just fine angry and upset using lies or hazy versions of the truth just to scare people.

This idea that President Obama and the Democratic party is bringing Socialism to America is completely ridiculous. The idea of government ran industries is a very crucial part of America. I for one have spent the last 13 years of my life taking part in one such industry and watching it grow and evolve with the changing times. This government ran industry did nothing but good for the community, and is a staple of my hometown’s well-being and the well-being of every single person in America. If you haven’t guessed what government funded program I’m referring to it’s school. Public school.

My point being just because the government runs something that doesn’t mean that it is an evil plot to bring down America. And come people, does that really make any kind of sense? The government wants to introduce Socialism as the new governing structure of America. Really? Somehow, I find it hard to believe that the President is on a crusade to take away the freedoms of the American people. This has been the attack point on President Obama from day one. And really, that’s the best you can come up with? “He’s bringing Socialism to our doorstep” and “Time to show them what a REAL grassroots MOB looks like!” You couldn’t even point out valid concerns about Obama such as how his campaign shifted in the last few months of running to get those last few votes to guarantee him the election. Or how he has made some very wonderful sounding promises, but it is impossible tha he’ll be able to deliver on all of them. Of course, perhaps it is the ignorance of this site and many like it that lead me to believe that.

And one final point, don’t paint yourself up as a spontaneous grassroots organization when you’re clearly not. Through Reddit I came across a video, while clearly very biased against the Republican party it still illustrates some interesting points that are unavoidable regardless of which party you support..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct–N3hJfxs

Made me do some research into these sponsoring companies and found it all to be very spot on.

…I wonder if 4chan could alter the site to mess up the schedule just to throw you guys out of whack.. Hmm…

  36. you’ve got it right with the upside down world irony of this.

The truth is that yhey prefer to listen to their own rhetoric rather than entertain feedback they consider to be ‘manufactured rage’

look at the difference between “manufactured rage” and “public outcry”

    http://conservativelibertine.blogspot.com/2009/08/manufactured-rage.html

When ACORN has a guy with a bull horn telling the people they bussed in what to say, that is supposed to be public out cry, but when actual voters and actual tax payers react to what they hear it is called manufactured rage?
C’mon! how stupid do they think we are!

I wish to hell we were better organixed. Do you know how difficult it is to find out on my own where my rep or my senators are going to be? Where is the web site or the organizer calling my house? I wish there were one? The offices of the politicians know whats up now. When you call they know why you are calling and they don’t want anybody but supporters and ‘extras’ from their office to be there for the possible local news photo op.

    Help!

  37. Thomas Hill says:

I say let Obama and the Democrats have their way and spend every dime we have and don’t have. Bush and the Republicans spent like drunken sailors when they were in power and now Obama and Dems are doing the same. These facts only prove that the political system is broken and we NEED people who think country first not themselves or party.
I hope the tea party movement becomes one of throw out EVERY person in Congress presently and let the victors know that if they repeat the mistakes of the present Congress they too will last 2 years House, 4 years Pres, or 6 years Sen until the people get the process corrected.
People TAKE BACK YOUR GOVERNMENT before we become a 3rd world country. I hope it’s not too late.

  38. Kovi says:

Love the ‘PAID FOR BY THE DNC’ at the end. Classy.

  39. Steven M. Osheyack says:

    AN ESSAY ON POPPYCOCK!

Now, you’ve gone and done it. Typical politicians spreading typical politician crap. The Democrats are facing a growing wave of public outcry over the mad spending in Washington and they are trying to “spin” that it is an extremist movement hell bent on destroying the Obama Presidency, all engineered by the Republican Right Wing. I got news for you all, we don’t like them either! In fact we got the game pretty much figured out. Its’ called divide and conquer and we‘re not buying it any longer. You folks in Washington have lost our faith and by that I mean ALL YOU FOLKS in Washington, both Democrat and Republican.

Despite the effort to paint us “rabble” as extremists, the truth is we are ordinary Americans, formerly Democrats, Republicans and from other political persuasions who all agree that Washington has dropped the ball and is operating against the best interests of the American people. We don’t identify with a party any longer. We want our leaders to follow the Constitution of the United States of America. We want our country back. We want you to stop spending money we don’t have. We want you to shrink government. We want you to stop creating an economy based on debt. We want you to be honest with us and stop looking out for yourselves and those special interest groups who have contributed heavily to your re-election. We are your constituents and you represent US. Have you forgotten?

Apparently, you are just now getting the point that we are angry as you emerge from your artificial reality in Washington to mingle with us common folk. You are witnessing it at town hall meetings across this nation as people express their outrage with you regarding the out of control spending and financial incompetence that threatens the core of this great nation. You need to listen to us and not simply label us “extremists”. What you are witnessing is our outrage that you have turned over the keys to OUR house to the banks, who created the problem in the first place. We are angry that you now want to empower the Federal Reserve to assume more power, even though they played a role in fueling the financial crisis. What happened to accountability? The leadership in government now resembles a who’s who of Goldman Sachs corporate moguls, and we are angry that you took these actions so brazenly, like we weren’t even paying attention. On that count, you are right. We have not been paying attention. We are now.

What you are seeing is the pent-up anger of everyday, ordinary people who don’t like the fact that those of us who played by the rules, paid our taxes, saved our money, paid our bills and went to work each and everyday have been forgotten. We are as mad at you for perpetrating our nation’s economic problems as those people were who lost their fortunes to Mr. Madoff in his Ponzi Scheme. We feel like we have been “had” We made sacrifices for our families and played the game on the premise that hard work yields benefits and then watched as you bailed out banks and other financial giants. You folks in Washington have saved corporate institutions with the slogan of “too big to fail” and then you sat idly by as those saved institutions profited off our money. We don’t believe it any longer. It was a sham under President Bush and it is a sham under President Obama. In our eyes, you created a big fat, nasty “do-over” for all your rich political friends and pilfered our pockets while we were busy living our lives. You now have our full attention.

We would respect you more if you could just admit that you have made mistakes and then promised to be better stewards of this great nation. Apparently you can not do that because it won’t get you re-elected, and so you keep promising us more special projects, more stimulus spending, more of this and, more of that. More of everything with money that we don’t have. You folks have now moved from spending our money, to spending our children’s money and have begun spending the money of our children’s unborn children. We want our government to live within its’ means. What is so hard to understand about that? Businesses operate with budgets or they go out of business. Families operate with budgets or they go broke. Why can’t government learn this lesson?

I suppose you think that by assigning us a label of extremist opposition, that will make us go away as you play to your supporters and rally your base. Well we are not going anywhere. We have nowhere else to go. Please understand that we will be voting in the next upcoming elections and we will be voting for people who believe in the fundamentals of the U.S. Constitution and the ideals of limited government. We will be supporting candidates that believe in term limits for Congressional representatives and frugality over casino spending. We will support candidates who believe in equal exercise of the rule of law and we will do so in opposition to both Democrat and Republican candidates who have compromised the fundamental values of the United States.

In conclusion, please understand that we have not given up on our great nation, and we still believe in the power of the vote. Perhaps, it would be a good idea for you to watch the movie Jimmy Stewart made all those years ago, way back in 1939, at another pivotal time in American history, called, “Mr. Smith goes to Washington”. The American people will soon be returning to Washington from all across this nation to bring ethics, simplicity and honor back to government service. That is all that we ask.

    Sincerely,
    Steven M. Osheyack

  40. Julie Routh says:

I just emailed Rep. Pelosi about her recent comments. I basically stated that I, like many, am a small business owner in rural America and upset about this extreme healthcare bill. I asked her to remember that we are the silent majority and have a right to be heard. I encourage you all to email her, and your representatives and senators. Please, Please be polite and respectful in your correspondence and at all townhall meetings!! Let’s prove them wrong what they are saying about us!!!!
