As you might have noticed, we’re making a lot of changes to TaxDayTeaParty.com. This website, which is considered by most to be the official website of the April 15th Tax Day Tea Party effort (and will play the same role for 2010), is being rebuilt to serve three major purposes.
1) Tax Day Tea Party
We’ve talked this over with coordinators and organizers in about 15 states so far, and there seems to be a common goal of doing one large scale rally in each state. With this in mind, TaxDayTeaParty.com will likely promote and market a rally in all fifty of the nations state Capital cities. These rallies will be far more focused than the ones we promoted last April 15th, and will have specific agendas that give them more political bite when it comes to consequences for politicians who do not represent the will of the people.
2) Tea Party Organizations
During the past two weeks, we were able to identify over 100 independent tea party organizations. Some states have more than 20 local tea party organizations.
TaxDayTeaParty.com is currently developing a high end directory that we hope will help folks find a local group to get plugged in with.
3) American Liberty Rally
We’re very ambitious, and we want to see the movement get much larger, much more efficient, and far more successful politically. We’re going to kick off the new American Liberty Rallies this September with 17 stops in 17 cities, working with organizers to develop large scale rallies for liberty in each of these stops.
The following is a list of the first 17 cities we intend to help promote mass gatherings in:
September 10: Sacramento
September 12: Salt Lake City, UT
September 14: Denver, CO
September 16: Kansas City, MO
September 17: St Louis, MO
September 18-19: Nashville, TN
September 21: Memphis, TN
September 22: Little Rock, AR
September 24: Dallas, TX
September 27: New Orleans, LA
September 30: Tallahassee, FL
October 1: Tampa, FL
October 3: Orlando, FL
October 6: Jacksonville, FL
October 8: Columbia, SC
October 10: Charlotte, NC
October 12-13: Atlanta, GA
A new website for this effort will go live this coming week.
There is a lot happening right now and you need to be plugged in. If you have not already done so, please register for free membership with the American Liberty Alliance (http://americanlibertyalliance.com/special.html). We’re currently one of the fastest growing action hubs in the country, having expanded by 800+ fully registered members in just the past nine days.
Ken Marrero and some of the others on the ALA team will be sending out some updates over the next few weeks, so make sure you’re watching for any emails from us and let us know if there is anything we can do to help keep you up to speed on what we’re doing.

Just a suggestion here but what if you hold the rallies in the capitol cities andyou also get petitions signed. The people that can go, could represent the people that signed the petitions and could not be there?
When do you plan to rally in Washington? That IS the next logical step. People should understand if you get a few million people down there it will help get attention. On the other hand if they cant come to a rally in Washington then them call in to work that day. Lets see how much of that Washington can take. When the trucks stop all across the US and the mail doesnt run and schools dont have enough kids to attend that should wake someone up. This wont work unless we are all in it together, what do you say America?
Sorry I left out the link to TEA Party higher level.

We need to take the TEA Party’s to a higher level. A 6.5 minute video on U-tube by ” Thomas Paine” will motivate and point in a more involved direction.

Hey! When are you coming to Western Kentucky? There are lots of people down here who are disgusted with your leadership in Washington.
It would be great if the tour could swing a little further north in the midwest… perhaps St. Paul / Minneapolis or Chicago? A group of us traveled from Minnesota and Wisconsin for the Midwest FairTax Rally in Missouri in June, but can’t travel that kind of distance on a regular basis.
Just finished up our Tea Party here in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California, where we were expecting some 15,000 folks but actually turned out just a shade over 25,000 folks for a great event and a great organization.

Part of what made the April 15th and July 5th TEA Parties in San Jose, CA, successful was that people didn’t have to travel too far to get to them. I probably won’t be able to make the Sept. 10th Sacramento TEA Party because of the time/distance. Just something to keep in mind…
Will you be holding any events in Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota area?
